Children's Health Awareness Day

Every Spring, Nachas Health puts together a Children's Health Awareness Day, giving parents the opportunity to have their children screened for a wide variety of medical conditions and offer a fun-filled day for the children. Screenings include: Vision, Audiology, Scoliosis, Dentistry, Dermatology, Asthma and Obesity. A pediatrician is also available to answer parents' questions.

In addition, one can find nutritional information, developmental screenings and immunization checks. We distribute hundreds of free bicycle helmets, infant car seats and booster seats. A certified technician is available onsite to educate and properly install car and booster seats. Free smoke detectors are also distributed.

But the fun doesn't end there. Exciting activities for the children may include: an arts and crafts booth, a puppet show, face painting, a horse and carriage ride, an ambulance to explore, a "smoke house" provided by the fire department to educate children on fire safety, and of course, plenty of popcorn and balloons!
