can make it possible for you to get the care you need so you can get healthy ?

Medicaid is a full
coverage insurance program for adults who are living in New York State.
Eligibility is based upon the household's gross income level and family size.
Medicaid offers health care provided by participating managed care plans (HMO's)
in your area for you to select. Many groups of people can be eligible for
Medicaid. But even within these groups, certain requirements must be met. These
may include your age, whether you are pregnant, disabled, blind, or elderly;
your income and resources (such as bank accounts and property); and whether you
are a US citizen and/or permanent resident. The rules for listing your income
and resources vary from group to group, and there are special rules for disabled
children living at home

Adult Medicaid is the US health insurance program for
individuals and families with low incomes and resources. It is jointly funded by
the states and federal government, and is managed by the states. Among the
groups of people served by Medicaid are eligible low-income parents, children,
seniors, and people with disabilities. Medicaid is the largest source of funding
for medical and health-related services for people with limited
income.
